
June had worked as a waitress for over 40 years at many different restaurants, including The Right Spot, The Osterman House, and The Tolgate, while living in Chambersburg, PA. More recently while living in Belleville, she had worked at Tony’s, Diamond Lil’s, Betty’s Golden Slipper, The Elks, The Pie Pantry, and The Jug. June loved to cook, clean, and keep things spotless. She also enjoyed traveling with her family, Crocheting, watching scary movies, and birdwatching in her yard, especially Cardinals.
She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas M. Guyer; her parents, Raymond L. and Dorcus, nee Unger, Cummings; and eight siblings, Shelby Nenninger, Joyce Miley, Barbara Coons, Charlie Cummings, Phillip Cummings, Juanita Shelter, Raymond Cummings, and Rita Fox.
She is survived by three sons, Theodore C. Guyer, Jr. of Beaufort, SC, Terry L. Guyer of Belleville, IL, and Ricky T. Guyer of Swansea, IL;
a daughter, Tina J. Guyer of Belleville, IL;
eight grandchildren, Tonya, Cassie, Stephanie, Jason, Blake, Alex, Heather, and Kristina;
13 great-grandchildren;
two sisters, Cindy Ferry of Shippensburg, PA, and Connie Hanley of Fayetteville, PA;
a brother, Dale (Torrina) Cummings of Chambersburg, PA;
and nieces and nephews.
