My favorite teacher at OLA in 1970. 3rd grade. I was bullied every day for eight years, except third grade, in that school. She had my back and gave me the confidence I needed to withstand beligerant and haughty individuals. I'm glad you were my teacher. R.I.P.

My sympathy to all of Karen's family.I was a member of the Optimist Club with her and did some landscaping at her home in Chenot Place. She always did her share of the activities in the Optimist Club and had a cheerful spirit.
