Katie was my student throughout her junior high and high school years at Valmeyer. She was always cheerful, outgoing and a friend to all who knew her. As a retired teacher, I don't remember everybody I taught over the years, but Katie is unforgettable and will always live on in my memory. She has a very big personality. :-)

Nothing can prepare an individual for the loss of a love one but this is especially true when it comes to our children. No parent anticipates their child dying before them. I lost my son two years ago and I know the heartbreak you are dealing with. My heart goes out to your family, I am truly sorry for your loss. My condolences.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I worked with Katie at FCB Bank in Albers on many occasions. She was a wonderful girl. She was always very real and you always knew where you stood with her which is something I greatly appreciate in a person. She had a great love for animals and making a difference. Katie was one of the youngest, hardest workers I ever met. She will be greatly missed.
