Kenneth Andrew Daniels, 62, of Fairview Heights, IL, born September 12, 1959, in Belleville, IL, died Friday, June 24, 2022, at his residence.

He was born to David K. and Genevieve M., nee Klein, Daniels.

Ken also was an avid baseball, and, later on, softball player with many days spent on the O’Fallon area ball diamonds. He had his own team for many of those years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Genevieve, nee Klein, Daniels.

Surviving are his siblings, Rhonda M. Brackett of Eureka, MO, David B. (Ann) Daniels of O’Fallon, IL, and Duane J. (Patti) Daniels of Shiloh, IL; and many nieces and nephews. Kenny will also be missed by his many friends.

I was saddened to learn of Kenny’s passing. Kenny was a great friend and I knew him well playing on the same baseball and wrestling teams. I helped him drag a few of the baseball diamonds at O’Fallon Park where you could see him frequently driving the tractor. Kenny had a warm and friendly spirit; we all loved Kenny! I remember him bringing a stack of ‘45’s to my house one night where I learned he also loved to listen to Elvis. My prayers and thought go to the Daniels family; may the Lord bring you peace and comfort.

It's a sad day in O' Fallon for those that knew Kenny I've known Kenny since high school and had the pleasure of watching him as a baseball player , playing many softball tournaments on his team " The Cobras " and playing against him in the O' Fallon City League . Believe me , you wanted him on your team ! Off the field he was as genuine a friend as anyone could have . Your laugh was contagious and you will be missed by everyone that ever had the honor of knowing you . My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Daniels family . Go in peace my friend .
