Mr. Casey worked for the Peabody Coal Company for more than 21 years before his retirement. He was a member of the St. Clair County Sherriff’s Department Auxiliary Association and belonged to the Okaw Hunting and Fishing Club. Larry was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Freeburg, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Paul and Dorothy Ann, nee Hatfield, Casey; and a brother, John Casey.
Surviving are wife of 43 years, Mary K, nee Ernst, Casey, whom he married on April 15, 1972 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Freeburg;
one son, Larry S. Casey Jr. (Vicki) of O’Fallon, IL;
one daughter, Cheryl Lynn (Chris) Sinn of Freeburg, IL;
two grandchildren, Chelsea Lynn Sinn,
and Carter Joseph Casey;
and his twin sister, Linda Cross of Keyesport, IL.

Funeral: Funeral Procession will leave at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2015, from George Renner and Sons Funeral Home, Freeburg, IL, for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Freeburg, IL, with Fr. Mark Reyling officiating. Burial will be at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
