Mr. Dunnavant was a United States Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Dunnavant; his parents, Everett and Marie, nee Balentine, Dunnavant; and three brothers, Ronald, Harold, and Mike Dunnavant.
Surviving are his wife, Karen Dunnavant; a son, Larry Dunnavant, Jr.; two daughters, Priscilla (Jimmy) Cuvar, and Paula Mansholt; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five siblings, Ruth Ann Jackson, Barbara Morley, Steven Dunnavant, David Dunnavant and Dennis Dunnavant; and numerous nieces and nephews.
