
Len retired from Emerson Electric after 37 years in Production Control. He was a United States Army Korean War veteran. He was a member of Concordia United Church of Christ.
Len was a man of honor, integrity, and strength. He was a devoted and loving husband, caring father, and grandfather. Through their 22 years of marriage, Len and Ev, really enjoyed traveling, card games, the Cardinals, great friends, and time spent with family. They also attended many events with their grandchildren whom he loved so much. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and those that loved him.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gwen Fritz, who died November 25, 1994; his parents, Leonhard and Elizabeth, nee Villiger, Fritz; a daughter, in infancy, Lori Ellen Fritz; two sisters, Shirley Fritz and Marguerite (Del) Sutt; a sister-in-law, Bert (Roland) Schilling; and four brothers-in-law, Charles Mineman, Edward Mineman, Bill Baker and Robert Voelker.
Cherishing his memories are his wife and best friend, Evelyn, nee Wainwright, Fritz;
a son, Dale E. (Karolyn) Fritz of Plano TX and their children, Kaitlyn and Davis;
three stepsons, Michael Mineman of Belleville, IL and his son Ryan Freivogel, Bradley Mineman of Belleville, IL, and James (Vanessa) Mineman of O’Fallon, IL and their children, Sophia, Charlie and Emerson;
a sister, Betty Baker of Del Rio, TX;
a sister-in-law, Florine Voelker of Ft. Worth, TX; special nephew and niece “guardian angels,” Richard and Mary Beth Schillingof Camdenton, MO;
and a niece, Kathryn LeBlanc of Ft. Worth, TX.

Visitation: A celebration of his life with family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Concordia United Church of Christ, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Memorial service will be held at 12 noon Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Concordia United Church of Christ, Belleville, IL with Rev. Allen Fluent officiating.
As we planned, he was cremated, and private interment will be held at a later date.
Casual dress will be appropriate.
