Leva loved time with her grandkids, phone calls with her brother, and watching her families’ horses run. She also enjoyed playing bingo, crossword puzzles, yard sales, and watching the Game Show Network and the Hallmark Channel. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan. Leva had a big heart and was a hard worker. She loved her family unconditionally and would do anything to help someone in need.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Ray Shipman; her parents, Vassie and Rosabell, nee Skaggs, VanHooser; a son-in-law, Wayne; and her sister, Carolyn.
Surviving are her daughters, Kim (Michael Ahring) Shipman and Shirley Worms; five grandchildren, Tanya, Taylor, Wayne Jr., Makenna, and Kynsleigh; a great-grandson, Liam; a brother, Vassie VanHooser; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
