Linda L. Lanter, nee Zumwalt, 66, of Belleville, IL, born April 13, 1949, in Alton, IL, died Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at her residence.

Mrs. Lanter was an administrative assistant for the social security administration.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lanter who died in 1994; and her father, Howard P. Zumwalt.

Surviving are one daughter, Connie M. Aschenbrenner;
and two grandchildren, McGwire and Karson Aschenbrenner.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2015, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2015, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Doug Stewart officiating.  Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Shiloh, IL.
