Mrs. Pass retired as a chef from the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows Restaurant in Belleville, IL. Hopefully, many of you had a chance to taste her “soup of the day”. Linda was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Smithton, IL. She also really enjoyed her experience as a Boy Scout leader for St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Belleville. She was always one of the guys.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Norman A Neff.
Surviving are her husband of 29 years, Randy Pass, whom she married on October 26, 1985;
her children, Sean Michael Pass and Lauren Elizabeth Pass, both at home;
her mother, Rosalie, nee Rausch, Neff of Smithton, IL;
her sister, Beverly (Kevin) Kaemmerer;
and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Linda always placed her friends and family before herself. She found great joy in helping others. She was always there to lend a helping hand even when her illness was at its worst. Her family will miss her compassion and strength.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to your favorite charity or in the form of Masses. If you can’t decide on an appropriate charity, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Smithton or the American Cancer Society are the family’s recommendations. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Randy and family Please accept our deepest sympathy on Linda’s death. We are so sorry that we cannot be with you at this time since we are out of town. There was no one more dedicated and hard working at the shrine than Linda. She influenced so many young people by teaching them good work ethics. She will be greatly missed. Chuck & Debbie Schumacher
