She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen A. and Ada, nee Humphries, Schaefer; three brothers, Danny, David and Ray Schaefer; and her grandparents, Rose and Erwin Schaefer.
Surviving are her husband of 29 years, Clarence W. Nikolauzyk, whom she married on May 21, 1988;
two sons, Frank (Elena) Nikolauzyk of Belleville, IL, and Joseph Nikolauzyk of Fayetteville, IL;
one daughter, Ashley (Jason) Smith of Marissa, IL;
five grandchildren, Lonnie, Emma, Samantha, Haley, and Hannah Smith;
and three sisters, Joyce (Bob) Ernst of Belleville, IL, Mary (Bob) Bruns of Shiloh, IL, and Della (Dave) Dodson of Springdale, AK.

Private family burial will be held at Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
