Dear Family of Lora, I was so sorry to hear about Lora. Lora and I were the two sisters chosen to go to Rome for our novitiate in 1965. She grew up in Harvey at St. John the Baptist parish and I grew up in West Pullman at Assumption BVM parish. My name was Sister Jacqueline, I am Karen Opyd from home. I have passed this information on to the Sisters as I am very close to them. She was a wonderful friend and even though we only communicated through texts, I will miss her very much. What a lovely women she was. My prayers are with all of you. God bless and keep you close to His loving heart. Karen
