Lucille retired after she and her husband Rusty owned and operated Lackmann Trucking Service for 40 years. She loved gardening, flowers and birds. She sang and played guitar with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Herman “Rusty” Lackmann Jr., whom she married on July 18, 1942, and who passed away on June 27, 1992; her parents, Paul and Josephine, nee Mines, Foertsch; her brothers, Raymond, Paul, Clifford and Harry Foertsch; and her sisters, Frieda Steele, Sophia Steele, Ruth Weber and Violet Bleisch.
Surviving are her brother, Cecil (Alice) Foertsch, of Marissa, IL;
a nephew, Jerry (Lesley) Foertsch, of Marissa, IL;
a niece, JoAnn (Eric) Reinhardt of Marissa, IL;
three great-nieces, Ashley (Justin) Hergenroeder, Mallory (Darrell) Elliott,
and Julie (Erick) Klein;
three great-great nephews, Lucius, Hunter and Tanner;
a great-great-niece, Brooklyn;
cousins; and friends.
Lucille was a kind and caring person and will be sadly missed by all who loved her.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at the funeral home, with Rev. Earl Crecelius officiating. Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
