After her graduation in 1968 from Notre Dame Academy in Belleville, IL, Lynda fulfilled her dream of becoming a nurse. Over the years she was blessed to provide care to many patients and found great joy in a job that she never considered work.
Lynda was preceded in death by her parents and her former husband, Alan Rothenbuecher.
She is survived by her only son, James Rothenbuecher;
her sister, Connie Whitney;
her brother, Lamar (Leslie) Ochs;
her nephews, Preston Whitney, Kyle Whitney, and Tyler Ochs;
and, her niece, Mariah Kardas.
She is also survived by great-nephews and great-nieces.
Lynda’s son, James would like to extend a very special thank you to the health care workers at St. Paul’s Senior Community in Belleville who cared for Lynda as though she were a member of their own family.

Funeral: Private services will be held with burial at College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, IL. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
