Marcel attended Belleville Township High School. He was a former member of Carpenter Union Local #433. Marcel was a United States Marine Corps veteran and served during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Matilda, nee Netemeyer, Bauman; three sisters, Ruth Zimmerman, Louise Hepp, and Geraldine Bauman, in infancy; and a brother, James Bauman.
Surviving are two sisters, Phyllis (Ray) Adams and Paulette Bauman; three brothers, Gerald (Dorothy) Bauman, Louis (Nancy) Bauman, and Paul (Jane) Bauman; a sister-in-law, Toni Bauman; and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
