Margaret Costanzo

Margaret A. Costanzo, nee Rohr, 96, of Belleville, IL, born November 15, 1918, in Belleville, IL, died Sunday, August 30, 2015, at St. Paul’s Home, Belleville, IL.

Mrs. Costanzo retired as a cook from St. Mary’s Grade School cafeteria.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Parish, Belleville, IL.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Costanzo, who died on September 6, 1988; her parents, Julius and Pearl, nee Taylor, Rohr; a sister, Winifred Keller; and a brother, Irving Rohr.

Surviving are a daughter and two sons, Jeanette (Cletus) Thouvenot of Swansea, IL,
Joseph C. Costanzo of Smithton, IL,
and Gary F. Costanzo of Rancho Cucamonga, CA;
three grandchildren, Brian (Mary) Thouvenot of Webster Groves, MO,
Kevin (Tess) Thouvenot of Swansea, IL,
and Lori Thouvenot of Swansea, IL;
seven great-grandchildren;
and one great-great-grandson.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.  Burial will follow at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
