Mrs. Gentsch worked as a shoe cutter at the Belleville Shoe Factory before her retirement. She also retired from A.T.S. Bus Service. Marian was a member of AARP and the Belleville Senior Citizens Club. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed reading.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roger Knox; her second husband, Richard Gentsch; her parents, Fred and Frieda, nee Nast, Ruff; and four sisters, Grace (Earl) Shelton Lorene (Kenneth) Jones, Lillie Tillman, and Merieda Royer.
Surviving are two sons, Kevin Knox of Palm Beach, FL,
and Robert (Lynn) Harbison Jr. of Divernon, IL;
three daughters, Darla Meng of League City, TX,
Debra (Steve) Baczewski of Highland, IL,
and Donna (Tim) Rodden of St. Louis, MO;
five grandchildren, Dawn (Chris) Neupert,
Chad and Monica Baczewski,
and Brandon and Joe Meng;
three great-grandchildren, Brody, Jackson and Parker Neupert;
and one brother-in-law, Charles Royer.

Funeral: Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Mark Stehlin officiating. Burial will be Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
