Marie Antoinette Benavidez, 58, of Swansea, IL, born April 10, 1964, on Scott AFB, IL, died Friday, June 24, 2022, at Swansea Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Swansea, IL.
Marie graduated from Belleville Township High School East in 1985. She had earned medals in bowling from the Special Olympics. Marie loved latch hook.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Rose, nee Jordi, Benavidez.
Surviving are two brothers, Paul Benavidez and James (Vanessa) Benavidez;
a sister, Cynthia Benavidez;
and nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2022, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
Burial will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville IL, following the visitation.
