Marilyn Alice Boul, nee Nevill, 88, of Freeburg, IL, born November 15, 1934, in Belleville, IL, died Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Freeburg Care Center, Freeburg, IL.

In her younger years, Marilyn loved to go out dancing with her husband and friends, especially at the Swansea Moose.  Marilyn was a wonderful mother and grandmother who adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Paul A. Boul, whom she married on January 8, 1955, and who died on June 10, 1985; her parents, Edgar and Ella, nee Schuester, Wild; a sister, Lucille (John) Kolda; a brother, LeRoy Nevill; two nephews, Larry and Nolan; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

She is survived by her four children, Steven (Rhonda) Boul, Sandy (Mark) Eberle, Sheri (Rick) Tschudin, and Sara (James) Bernosky; six grandchildren, Ryan Eberle (Tara Lugge), Jaime (Jason) Mueller, Paul Derek (Alex) Tschudin, Kristi Tschudin (Skyler Jessop), Christopher Bernosky, and Samuel Bernosky; nine great-grandchildren, Leighton, Bryce, and Everett Eberle, Charlotte and Abby Mueller, and Palmer, Payton, Charlie, and Ollie Tschudin; and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Louis Children’s Heart Foundation. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday, April 6, 2023, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Thursday, April 6, 2023, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Deacon Corby Valentine officiating.

Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.

My sincere sympathy to all the Bouls! Marilyn is loved and will be missed. She was a sweet lady! I am happy that our parents had a special friendship and they enjoyed each other's company when they were out dancing! It was a great time of their lives!
