My first memory of Margie was my Brownie leader. Then we became members of First Baptist Church in Freeburg and we worked together in the kitchen especially at Christmas and shared lots of fun and laughter. In later years I loved going to visit them at home and she shared her memories of growing up . She always had a big smile and welcomed you in . She was a great lady and now has gone home to be with the Lord.

My deepest condolences to the Smith Family! Mrs. Smith was always so kind and sweet to everyone. We were members of First Baptist Church of Belleville with them and sat behind the Smith Family for years! Recently my daughters brought up her famous Peanut Squares! Said no bakery could make them quite as good as Mrs. Smith did! How they loved her baking! May She Rest In Peace. 🙏🏽

Don , Marla, Lee, Rhonfa and Ed. I can honestly say your Mom was one of my most favorite people. I am going to miss seeing her and listening to her stories. She had the greatest memory of anyone I have ever met!. She taught me so many things. I will cherish each memory I have .
