Mr. Greenfield was the owner and operator of Greenfield’s Fish Stand and Catering in Smithton, IL, and formerly owned and operated Greenfields at the Belle Clair fairgrounds. He formerly worked as a supervisor at the St. Clair County Jail, working for Aramark Correctional Services. Mark was a motorcycle enthusiast, an avid fisherman, and a member of the Illinois Patriot Guard Riders.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dolores Ann, nee Schobert, Greenfield; and his father-in-law, James Rank.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Judith P., nee Rank, Greenfield whom he married on October 18, 1980;
two sons, Andrew (Jennifer) Greenfield of Millstadt, IL, and Nicholas (Lindsey) Greenfield of Millstadt, IL;
a daughter, Erin (Michael) Schneider of Millstadt, IL;
seven grandchildren, Logan, Ruth, Eleanor, Colton, Lucille, Charles, and Maxwell Greenfield;
a brother, Steven Schobert of Sparta, IL;
a sister, Sheryl (Frank) Miller of Sparta, IL;
his mother-in-law, June Rank of Smithton, IL;
two sisters-in-law, Linn (George) Lebonick of Smithton, IL, and Mary Kay (Steven) Downen, of Belleville, IL;
a nephew, Jorin (Cara) Lebonick of Glen Carbon, IL;
a niece, Lindy (Paul) McGuire, of O’Fallon, MO;
a great-niece and a great-nephew, Juniper and Jameson McGuire;
aunts, uncles, and cousins;
and many good friends.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2018, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Terry Crownover officiating.
Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
