Mark worked in the Tugboat industry as a Captain and in upper management for over 30 years. Mark loved to cook, had passion for tug boating and golfing. He liked to debate and enjoyed sports. Most of all he loved his kids and enjoyed spending time with them.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Roach; a sister, Heidi S. Roach; a brother, Tommy Roach; and father-in-law, James W. Harris.
Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Elizabeth, nee Harris, Roach, whom he married on June 16, 1990;
his mother, Doris, nee Friedrich, Roach;
two daughters, Heidi (Brandon) Schaefer and Adriana Roach;
a son, Jack Roach;
his mother-in-law, Earlene Harris;
and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.
Burial will be at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
