Mary Belle Choate, nee Woodard, of Belleville, IL, born on January 17, 1933, in Nashville, TN, died on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, George L. Choate, whom she married on June 12, 1948, and who died on July 9, 2010; her parents, Rev. Cecil and Clara, nee Madgert, Woodard; five brothers, Edwin, Bennie, Robert, Carneal, and David; and three sisters, Winnie, Mildred, and Nina.
She is survived by a son, George R. (Carolyn) Choate;
a daughter, Jenniveve Choate;
two grandsons, David Michael Schaefer and Jason Matthew Schaefer;
and a great-granddaughter, McKenzie Schaefer.
