Mrs. Dawson was a member and past-president of the Bunsen School PTA and a former Cub Scout Den Mother. She enjoyed restoring antiques and watching wrestling (WWE) on television.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Henry W. Dawson who died on January 11, 1977; one daughter, Beverly Sue Marquis; her parents, Floyd D. and Ethel G., nee Herbert, Snyder; and one brother, Floyd Snyder Jr.
Surviving are her son, Jeffrey Dawson of Belleville, IL;
two grandsons, Michael and Jason Marquis;
and a brother, Richard Snyder of Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Mike Garrison officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
