Mary Lee Felts, 88, of Belleville, IL, born October 6, 1933, in St. Louis, MO, died Friday, September 9, 2022, at Freeburg Care Center, Freeburg, IL.

Mary was a graduate from the Academy of Notre Dame and was a lifetime member of the Loyal Order of The Moose.

She enjoyed playing bridge and golf, and was especially proud of the two hole-in-ones she scored in her lifetime. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball and St. Louis Rams football fan. Mary loved traveling and seeing new places.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Felts, who died in February 1985; her parents, LaVerne and Val Basinski; and a sister, Sandra (Joe) Schmitz.

Surviving are three daughters, Jane (Kevin) Halloran, Mary Lynn (Al) Karban, and Julie (Mel) Speichinger; a son, J. Mark (Patty) Felts; a brother, Dr. Jerry (Tudor) Basinski; seven grandchildren, Shawn (Liz) Halloran, Sarah (Bill) Roemer, Nick (Lauren) Halloran, Kari (Josh) Lane, Kasey (Billy) Basler, Kaitlin (Aaron) Floarke, and Kellie (Brian) Dayton; 13 great-grandchildren, Nolan and Nate Halloran, Kennedy and Logan Roemer, Nora Halloran, Kaedon and Kailey Lane, Teaghan and Brady Basler, Grayson and Beckett Floarke, Brynleigh and Blayke Dayton, and one more on the way; nieces and nephews; and many good friends whom she cherished dearly.

Memorials may be made to St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church or Althoff Catholic High School. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2022, at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2022, at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.

Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
