Mary A. Feurer, 63, of Freeburg, IL, born December 15, 1953, in St. Louis, MO, died Thursday, August 24, 2017, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Mary was a Certified Public Accountant.  She was a member of the Missouri Society of CPA’s, and was a volunteer for the St. Louis Tax Assistance Program. She enjoyed her leisure time as a Ham Radio Operator.  Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, IL, was a Eucharistic Minister at the church, and was a member of the Cursillo of the Belleville Diocese.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Delmar H. and Luella L., nee Krupp, Feurer; and a brother, Dennis Feurer.

Surviving are her three brothers, John (Annamay) Feurer of Chattanooga, TN, Paul Feurer of Freeburg, IL, and Joseph (Kathy) Feurer of Millstadt, IL;
a sister, Rose (David) Rathke of DeKalb, IL;
a sister-in-law, Patricia Feurer of Olathe, KS;
seven nieces and nephews, JoAnne, Margaret, Brittany, Ashley and Jacob Feurer, and Benjamin and Joseph Rathke;
and five great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society, or to St. Joseph Catholic Church. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, IL.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, IL, with Fr. Mark Reyling officiating.

Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Freeburg, IL.

Paul and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I appreciate your calling to let me know, Paul. Mary and you all will be in my prayers. I am sorry, but it looks like we will not be able to attend the funeral tomorrow. May Eternal rest be granted unto Mary, O Lord, and let Perpetual Light shine upon her. Amen.
