Mary C. Kinney, nee Mitchell, 62, of Smithton, IL, born December 8, 1958, died Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Catherine, nee Hand, Mitchell; and two sisters, Teresa Orr and Michelle Sharp.

Surviving are her husband of 32 years, Gary W. Kinney, whom she married on September 30, 1988; a sister, Cathy Forno; and three brothers,
Kevin Mitchell, Ed Mitchell, and Robert Mitchell, Jr.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at

 Visitation:  Friends may visit the family 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2021, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL. Standard CDC guidelines, including masks and social distancing, will be observed.
