MaryB Stella Kloess, nee Ezell, 86, of Belleville, IL, born June 12, 1935, in Belleville, IL, died Friday, June 18, 2021, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Mrs. Kloess was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Belleville, IL. She was a member of the Mothers’ Club and the Bridge Club.  She enjoyed camping and bowling. MaryB bowled on many leagues, but her favorite was the Donut League at Althoff.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Paul A. Kloess, whom she married on January 15, 1955, and who died on November 12, 2020; her parents, Fielding and Helen, nee Gebert, Ezell; a brother in infancy, Fielding Ezell, Jr.; and two sisters, Shirley Nevenner and Norma VonBokel.

Surviving are a son, Stephen (Lauren) Kloess of Smithton, IL; a daughter, Jean (David) Eagan of Belleville, IL; three grandchildren, Michael (Danielle) Thompson, Eric Kloess, and Jesse (Brooke) Kloess; six great-grandchildren, Ava, Edith, Jonah, Madison, Jackson, and Harrison; and nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation:  Friends may visit from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.

Burial will be at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL, at a later date.

You stole my heart with your kindness and the friendship we shared the past few months, I will miss our visits and talks . I know you are at peace now with Paul and I can see your smile .and know you are in a better place ..May your memory be eternal .Our sympathies to the family .
