There is so much we can say about Matt, including how he loved experimenting with baking (his quest for perfect pizza dough did his mixer in but his apple pie was perfection). He could always find a treasure at an estate sale, and he enjoyed fishing, gardening and his beloved beagles, Hooper and Elwood. Matt’s life was made more complete by doing most things with the love of his life, Laura Loehr. He was lucky to have such a wonderful person in his life.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Nicholas M. Cook; his paternal grandparents, Arthur J. and Erna R. Cook; and his maternal grandmother, Anna L. Wolf.
He is survived by his love of 17 years, Laura Loehr; a daughter, Devin M. Cook; his parents, Thomas A. and Sandra J. Cook; four sisters, Dawn L. Cook, Kimberly K. Cook, Connie K. Cook, and Molly Ann Cook; two nieces, Madeline and Josephine Graham; his maternal grandfather, Clarence J. Wolf; two aunts, Janet (Roger) Schloemann, and Debra (Rich) Koehler; an uncle, Douglas J. Wolf; and many cousins, and other relatives.
