Mr. Bader was the executive director of Southwestern Illinois Visiting Nurse Association before his retirement. He was an avid golfer, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Belinda Sue Bader, nee Bolen, whom he married on December 20, 1969, and who died on January 31, 2013; and his parents, Arthur C. and Betty L., nee Piatt, Bader.
Surviving are two sons, Matthew P. (Vivian) Bader of O’Fallon, IL,
and Adam N. (Amy) Bader of Colorado Springs, CO;
six grandchildren, Breanna, Alexis, Adam, Mallory,
Brooke, and Callie Bader;
and his sister, Barbara Bader of Belleville, IL.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2016, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Jeff Young officiating. Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
