Michael A. Bigalke, 63, of Belleville, IL, born July 12, 1958, in Detroit, MI, died Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL.

Mr. Bigalke was a wonderful person who loved meeting new people. He was a great caretaker for his friends, and especially his mother. Mike enjoyed gardening and working on the computer. He was involved with a computer club and was extremely proud of his brother’s screen printing and t-shirt store, Beatnik’s. He will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, James F. Bigalke.

Surviving are his mother, Dolores J., nee Bednarczyk, Bigalke; three brothers, Larry J. (Brenda) Bigalke of Anchorage, AK, Andy J. (Yvonne) Bigalke of Anchorage, AK, and John C. Bigalke of Belleville, IL; one sister, Mary C. (Terry) Gallagher of Parker, CO; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Graveside services will be held at 11a.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL, with Deacon Corby Valentine officiating.

Mike was my coffee buddy. Arguably the best friend I had at the time. We would look at the internet and have a laugh or look at interesting posts. He was a friend when you were in need as well.

Mike was the greatest friend anyone could ask for. He helped me in bad times and was there to encourage me to keep going, never asking anything in return except to do the same for someone else who needed help. Thank you for everything you did day in and day out. you will truly be missed my friend.
