Mr. Stark retired from Terminal Railroad, St. Louis, MO, after 43 years of service. He enjoyed working on antique classic cars, collecting antique rifles, and also was an avid collector of Cushmen motor scooters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael Sr. and Mary, nee Gram, Stark; and three brothers, Bobby Joe, Jerry, and Danny Stark.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Doris Stark, nee Watson, whom he married on August 28, 1971; a son, Michael W. (Ashley) Stark; two grandchildren, Jillian and Maximus; a sister, Maryann; and many nieces and nephews.

Burial with military honors will be at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
