Mr. Yoch was a proud United States Navy veteran and served on the U.S.S. Newport News from 1965 to 1969. He loved to spend time outdoors with his sons and grandsons. Mr. Yoch worked for the Dynegy Midwest Baldwin Energy Complex in Baldwin, IL, for 38 years. After retirement, he enjoyed beekeeping and collecting and restoring vintage relics and vehicles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence H. and Dorothy Lucille, nee Faith, Yoch; and a brother, David A. Yoch.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Karen S., nee Knoth, Yoch, whom he married on October 16, 1970, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Smithton IL;
three sons, Craig M. (Sara) Yoch, Chad D. (Tarah Baldwin) Yoch, and Chase C. (Laura) Yoch;
three grandsons, Calin Yoch, Bryton Yoch and Wyatt Yoch;
two brothers, Timothy Yoch and Thomas Yoch;
a sister, Maria (Neal) Tiberend;
a brother-in-law, Richard Knoth, Sr.;
several nieces and nephews;
and his cherished dogs, Jack and Zoe.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon Saturday, March 10, 2018, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Smithton, IL, with Rev. Kenneth York officiating.
Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
