Mildred E. Geminn, nee Waller, 92, of Belleville, IL, born May 29, 1924, in DuQuoin, IL, died Monday, February 20, 2017, at Bethesda Southgate Nursing Home, St. Louis, MO.

Mrs. Geminn was a member and volunteer of the Southside Improvement Association in Belleville.  She was an avid bowler and played in many leagues for more than 30 years.

Mildred was preceded in death by her, husband of 48 years, Walter L. Geminn Sr., whom she married on November 9, 1946, and who died on March 18, 1995; her parents, James M. and Marla, nee Shelton, Waller; and four sisters.

Surviving are two sons and four daughters, Glenda (Charles) Chitty of Herrin, IL,
Becky Gates of Myrtle Beach, SC,
Hugh “Bud” (Pam) Robbins of Makanda, IL,
Marla “Cathy” Brown of Stockbridge, GA,
Sheri (Ralph) Jones of St. Louis, MO,
and Walter Jr. (Kelli) Geminn of Collierville, TN;
15 grandchildren;
17 great-grandchildren;
and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation:  Friends may visit with the family from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Cory Hartz officiating.

Burial will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
