I just learned of Millie's passing. I have such fond memories of Millie from when I was growing up. She was kind, caring and so positive. I loved her laugh. She was such a good friend to my mom, Bernadette. I am thinking of the Gerling family and will pay respects in person if something is held later.

Mom (who is staying with me for now and without a newspaper) and I just learned of Millie’s passing. She was my beloved godmother and Bernadette’s dearest friend and long ago roommate in St Louis in their single years. She was a beautiful person and the best hugger in all the world. We are so sad for us, her family and other friends that she’s gone. We hope to pay our respects in person if a Mass/ gathering can be held later.

Our St. Luke family will not be the same without Millie. When I think of the community, Millie & Joe are front and center. They were always so loving. Millie had a soft spot for our son Aidan; they were baseball buddies. It is a comfort to know without doubt that Millie & Joe are reunited now in Gods love. Our deepest sympathy to your family.

We are forever grateful to Millie and Joe for their many years of service to the Ministry to Sick and Aged. They would arrive early to arrange the altar for Fr. Gene and gather the residents for Mass at Sycamore Village and Swansea Care Center. May they both continue to enjoy eternal peace.

We are so sorry to hear of Millie's death. Joe was our only cousin from our mom's side and he was more like a brother. It is awesome that she could celebrate Easter in heaven.

I am so sorry to hear of Millie's death. Please accept my sympathy. She was a good friend and was such a help when we quilted - setting the table and making coffee for us and of course, cleaning up after us. You girls were so kind to her and you will be blest.
