In life, Nelson enjoyed reading, listening to music from the Beach Boys to the Beatles, watching movies, watching baseball, reading comic books, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Crowell was preceded in death by his parents, George and Annie, nee Connelly, Crowell; and two brothers, (Henry) Michael and Warren.
He is survived by his son, Matthew (Michelle) Crowell of Freeburg, IL;
and two grandchildren, Felicity and Lily Crowell;
a sister, Lesslie McDonald;
two brothers, Goerge Crowell and Doug Crowell;
and many nieces and nephews.
