Nettie “Elna” Hayden, nee Stilwell, 88, of Millstadt, IL, born April 1, 1932, in Rockport, IN, died Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Caseyville Nursing & Rehab Center, Caseyville, IL.

Mrs. Hayden enjoyed genealogy research. She loved dancing and music at the nursing home.

Nettie was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Theresa Pearce; her parents, Odie and Mary Clyde, nee Langdon, Stilwell; two brothers, John and William Stilwell; and six sisters, Elizabeth “Sis” Bingle, Anna Marie Becker, Mildred Herron, Josephine Lashley, Eva Brown, and Janet Adams.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter, Marvin E. (Sandra) Hayden of Belleville, IL, Jennifer Denise Hayden (Jonathan) Jacoby of Millstadt, IL, and Timothy D. Hayden of Belleville, IL;
four grandchildren, Derek (Breyanna) Pearce, Melissa (Ryan) Massey, Lauren (Ryan) Martin, and Austin (Jillian) Hayden;
15 great-grandchildren;
and her former husband, Marvin “Pete” Hayden.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Funeral:  Private funeral services will be held.

Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
