She was a wonderful stay-at-home mom who devoted her life to her family. Being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was her greatest joy in life. She liked crossword puzzles, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues, and watching the Game Show Network. She was in a pinochle card club for more than 70 years with her lifelong friends, Elsa Eltrich, Darlene Schwab, Faye Weis, Shirley Wilkemeyer, and JoAnn Halb.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert J. Ullrich, whom she married in 1960, and who died February 1, 2016; and her parents, Harry and Margaret, nee Kraus, Nagel.
Surviving are two daughters, Lynn (John) Budde, and Lauren (David) Frerichs;
four grandchildren, Alyssa (Cole) Kaemmerer, Lindsay (Patrick) Beeler, Michael Frerichs, and Ryan Frerichs;
a great-granddaughter, Piper Beeler;
and a sister-in-law, Marianne Swick.
The family thanks all of her wonderful caregivers who took amazing care of Norma and made it possible for her to stay in her home.
