A graduate of Belleville Township High School, Norma worked at the Belleville Shoe Factory for more than 30 years. She was a former member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Belleville. Norma enjoyed playing cards and bingo.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Fred E. Wright, whom she married on February 12, 1949, in Arkansas, and who died on November 19, 1981; her parents, Reginald and Elizabeth, nee Herzig, Beaumont; a sister, Betty Walter; and a sister-in-law, Helen Beaumont.
Surviving are her son, Roger (Judy) Wright of Belleville, IL;
two granddaughters, Sarah Wright of Belleville, IL,
and Michelle (Caerie) Houchins of University City, MO;
her brother, Vernon Beaumont of Swansea, IL;
and nieces and nephews.
A beautiful life that came to an end,
she died as she lived, everyone’s friend.
In our hearts a memory will always be kept,
of one we loved and will never forget.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Rev. Herbert Schafale officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
