Oscar Franklin Moore, Jr., 102, of St. Peters, MO, born March 19, 1919, in Kennett, MO, died, Tuesday, December 6, 2021, at Spencer Place Senior Living, St. Peters, MO.

Frank was a highly skilled tool and die maker and retired from Marsh Stencil Machine Company. He enjoyed working with his hands, but his passion was music. He shared his talents as both a professional musician and luthier who played upright base and violin in the Belleville Philharmonic. Frank proudly served his country as a United States Army Air Core veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Moreen J., nee Maitland, Moore, who died June 4, 2008; a son, William C. Moore; his parents, Oscar and Ora, nee Ballinger, Moore; and a son-in-law, Gary Seabaugh.

Surviving are his daughter, Collene Seabaugh of Wentzville, MO; two grandsons, Gary Jr. (Jennifer) Seabaugh and Robert (Kathryn) Mills; three great-grandchildren; Joey and Abby Seabaugh, and Samantha Mills; and a great-great-grandson, Atlas Seabaugh.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Funeral: Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2021, at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Darwin Schrader officiating.

Always enjoyed playing music with Frank, he could really play the bass! My dad and Frank were both incredible talents! Heaven has a mighty good band up there!

Frank led a remarkable life. It was always great chatting with him on his front porch. He told great stories. Rest In Peace

I remember Frank well. He repaired my violins and bows and brought his car to Laing Auto Repair. My sympathy to all.
