Mitchell family, I can’t tell you how much I loved your mom. As a child growing up in Rector she was the person I wanted to grow up to be like. She and your dad were two of my favorite people in the world and only good things came from each of them. Please know how much I love them both and you guys too. It will take some time for you to get back to something “normal” but it will happen. Roger and Pat will be remembered by me so fondly. They both taught me so much about how to lead a good, wholesome life. I was so happy when my son Jon said he wanted to be a band director. I immediately thought of Roger. He was a band director for some years and went back to get a degree in public administration. He is now Principal of Woodrow Wilson Elementary School here in Paragould, and he loves it. Let me know if there’s anything we can do for you all.

David & Katie, Angela &Chris, Rylan & Nichole, Elaine, Ashley & Jordan & other friends of Pat: I know most of you, as I am, are missing the hole in our lives that Pat's passing will leave. She was my life-time friend that I loved so much. We went through all the 1st-12th grades together and were roommates all through college. After we both married we continued our friendships although we lived many miles apart. She was one of the nicest and sweetest people I ever met. I know she will be with our Lord & Savior so we should not be crying or worrying about her, but that is hard. GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN!

I wanted to express my sympathy to Mrs. Mitchell’s family. She was my 2nd grade teacher and always treated me so well. I saw her every week at church and we served many times in the nursery. She will be missed.

You have our deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother and grandmother. We really enjoyed playing bridge with your Mom and Dad since the early 1970’s. We also enjoyed going to many shows and the St. Louis Art Museum with both of them. We were very glad to see Pat at Christmas time for lunch. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
