Paulette F. Boyer, nee Laviolette, 79, of Chesterton, IN, born November 5, 1936 in Vankleek Hill, Ontario Canada, passed away on December 6, 2015 at her son’s home in Belleville, IL. surrounded by loved ones.

Paulette was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Pats Church in Chesterton, IN.  She worked many years as the lead custodian for Duneland. Paulette was known for her kindness and her bright spirit.  She was always helping others and never knew a stranger.  She loved playing Bingo and spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. Paulette was a remarkable woman  who brought love and sunshine into every life that she touched. She will be greatly missed, but her spirit shall live on in all of those who had the opportunity to love and laugh with her during her lifetime.  Heaven has truly gained a special angel.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rolland G. Boyer; daughter, Rollande Salyer, nee Boyer; and her parents, Paul and Emilia, nee Fauteux, Laviolette.

Paulette is  survived by her beloved sister, Gloria Zelak;
her children Gerry (Diane) Brunet of Canada,
Lorraine (John) VonTobel of Valparaiso, IN,
Johanne (Mickey) Stanley of Houston, TX,
Marc Boyer of Belleville, IL,
Roxanne (Bill) Ortiz of Valparaiso, IN,
Jerry (Mary) Boyer of Chesterton, IN;
her 9 grandchildren, Tony Salyer, Joshua Salyer,
Kayla VonTobel, Kara VonTobel,
Robert Stanley, Ashley (Tim) Boatman,
Justin Boyer, Brittany Boyer,
Tiffany Ortiz;
and 9 great grandchildren.
