Mrs. Clendenin was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church, Belleville, and a member of Americorps society program. Pauline’s greatest joy was time spent with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren,
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Randolph Clendenin; a son-in-law, Gary Stein; her parents, Milton and Wilma, nee Klingeman, Eggers; and a brother, Leonard Eggers.
Pauline is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert A. Clendenin, whom she married October 14, 1950.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at St. Matthew United Methodist Church, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at10 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at St. Matthew United Methodist Church, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Larry Patton and Rev. James Slone officiating.
Entombment will be at Valhalla Mausoleum, Belleville, IL.
