
Mrs. Louvier was self-employed as a home cleaner for many years, but her true passion was as an antique dealer. She spent many days attending sales, flea markets and auctions. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
Gleora was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James J. Louvier, whom she married on August 22, 1953, and who died on September 29, 2014; a son Arthur Louvier; her parents, Ambrose A. and Gertrude A., nee Durkee, Menard; three brothers, Charles, Clifford and Bill Menard; and two sisters, Betty Pinkley and Jeanne Walton.
Surviving are two sons, James Jr. (Patricia) Louvier, and Christopher (Kelly) Louvier;
five daughters, Michelle Louvier, Yvonne (David) Polson, Gerri Louvier, Judy Louvier, and Amy Louvier;
eight grandchildren, Janice (Geoffrey) Schuchart, Abby Louvier, James Louvier III, Christopher Louvier Jr, Eric (Shannah) Reamer, and Joshua Melvin, Jeffrey Melvin, and Corey Melvin;
four great-grandchildren, Sophia Schuchart, Atticus Melvin, and Delaney and Everly Reamer;
and two brothers, James and Bruce Menard.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Private family services will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018, with Fr. Elmar Mauer, O.M.I., officiating. Burial will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
