Rachel Juanita Boatman, nee Self, 90, of Belleville, IL, born February 18, 1932, in Centreville, IL, died Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.
Mrs. Boatman was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Boatman Jr.; her parents, Tilford L. and Rosa L., nee Crouch, Self; siblings, Grace M. Conner, John D. Self, Franklin D. Self, Sherman D. Self, William Self, Rosie Schmidt, Clifford Self, Flossie Self, and Dixie Self.
Surviving are a daughter, Wanda L. Boatman;
a son, Rodney W. Boatman;
and a sister, Mary L. McElligott.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Mohammad M. Vakassi and the medical staff at Belleville Memorial Hospital and Memorial Care Center.
