Raymond was a sweet and gentle soul. We worked together for many years at the Illinois State Library. We were not only colleagues, but friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor, loved his family and friends, and his dear kitties. He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace, my friend.

I am very sorry to hear that Raymond has gone ahead. My condolences to his family. He was a kind man & a good neighbor. In one of our last conversations I told him how many cats I had. He said, "I think you might love cats more than I do!"... and he definitely loved them. Farewell from your neighbor Raymond...

I'm so sorry for your loss. Raymond was a colleague at the State Library and truly a friend. We spent time talking about library requests, but much more time talking about books and birds.
