Raymond Joseph Hoff, 79, of Belleville, IL, born February 10, 1944, in Belleville, IL died Sunday, April 23, 2023, at his residence.

Mr. Hoff had previously worked in the uniform and textile industry for Todd Uniform and Red Kap. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed grilling and taking care of his lawn. Raymond also enjoyed watching NASCAR, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, Randy Joseph Hoff; his parents, Joseph and Odelia, nee Bossler, Hoff; a granddaughter, Erica M. Dickerson; a great-grandson, Tristen Dolnick; a sister, Marylouise Bath; and an uncle, Raymond “Wally” Bossler.

Surviving are his children, Karen D. (Matt Lorenzen) Hoff, Ramah A. (Richard) Crowell, and Ryan L. (Kristen, nee Hanger) Hoff; three grandchildren, Justine Crowell, Weston “Zippy” Hoff, and Kenna Hoff; a great-grandson, Owen Schmidt; a sister, Rose Ann (Andy) Gatlin; a brother-in-law, Dennis Bath; many nieces and nephews; and a lifelong close friend, Brent Rubin.

Visitation:  Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2023, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
