Mrs. Myers was the Mother of her church, and a registered nurse.
Ree was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Myers; her parents; and her loving daughter, Martha Jeane (Jack) Walls.
Surviving are her daughter, Maggie (Dennis) Green;
a dear niece, Jeannette Harris;
25 grandchildren;
17 great-grandchildren;
and 7 seven great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at New Life in Christ Church, Lebanon, IL, with Bishop Geoffrey V. Dudley officiating.
Burial will be at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.

I remember many great times growing up with my adopted Grandma and Daddy Al. Some of the best times in my childhood were spent with them Sundays after church. I just got to hear her voice last year and vowed I would make it to see her and was unable to. She was a strong warrior though and I know she is at peace and rest now. My condolences to all of the family, she was family to me too even though we weren’t blood. I could never tell I wasn’t her grandchild by blood though because she never made me feel any other way. Praying for comfort, and peace for everyone during this time.
