I was working on a sermon on heaven and thinking of the great reunion we will enjoy on the others side. Howard is one of the people it will be great to reunite with. He had a kind heart and a love for the Lord that impacted my life.

Ruth and I have prayed that our Father will give you His peace and comfort as you mourn the loss here of your Dad. The sermon I preached last Sunday in remembrance of your Dad was Come Before Winter (a sermon your father preached at first church many times.) He encouraged me to go to bible college to learn more about the Word. He taught me how to really care for people. One day we will be reunited on heavenly shores because he led us to the One who gives life. May His strength be yours as you comfort one another.

To Mark, Greg and Craig, We were so sorry to hear of the passing of you dad. Howard and Margaret were such good friends of ours when we lived in Belleville and went to First Christian Church. We had so many good times together, one of which was when your whole family visited us here in Georgia. Our prayers are with you all. Ken and Marian Eugea

Howard is gone from our sight but never from our hearts. He left us with so many wonderful memories. We loved his laughter and his corny jokes. He was an angel on earth.

My deepest condolences to Howard's family and all whose lives he touched. He baptized me at age 10 at First Christian Church in Belleville, and his sermons made me feel connected to God. So glad he is in Heaven to enjoy his Lord of Lords for all eternity!
