Rev. Howard impacted my life in so many ways. First, my baptism, then officiating my wedding, and also officiated my daughter's wedding. More than anything, Howard set the standard of what sharing evangelism and being a preacher should be . Always a gentle and kind soul, he was also friends with my grandparents for many years. He was a blessing to my life and many of my family members' lives. What a wonderful man!!! Thank you for sharing your father, grandfather, husband so he could teach us the Lord's word. May you find comfort in knowing the great impact he had on so many people. He was a dedicated and caring individual with a terrific sense of humor. I send my condolences and heartfelt sympathy to your family.

I was working on a sermon on heaven and thinking of the great reunion we will enjoy on the others side. Howard is one of the people it will be great to reunite with. He had a kind heart and a love for the Lord that impacted my life.

Ruth and I have prayed that our Father will give you His peace and comfort as you mourn the loss here of your Dad. The sermon I preached last Sunday in remembrance of your Dad was Come Before Winter (a sermon your father preached at first church many times.) He encouraged me to go to bible college to learn more about the Word. He taught me how to really care for people. One day we will be reunited on heavenly shores because he led us to the One who gives life. May His strength be yours as you comfort one another.

Howard is gone from our sight but never from our hearts. He left us with so many wonderful memories. We loved his laughter and his corny jokes. He was an angel on earth.
