Mr. Horn served his country in the United States Air Force. He later worked for the Terminal Railroad, Alton & Southern and Conrail Railroad.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cassandra Horn; and his parents, Richard Karl and Patricia Marie, nee Duffy, Horn.
Surviving are wife, Sandra, nee Goodall, Horn;
three children, Richard Karl III (Irmis) Horn, Kristopher Karl (Emily) Horn, and Karen Gianoulis;
eight grandchildren, Marcelina Acosta-Horn, Ricardo Horn, Kennedy Horn, Payten Horn, Michael Martin, Loren Ransom, Joey Mackey, and Cali Mackey;
two brothers, Patrick Horn and Timothy Horn;
four sisters, Kathryn Andrescavage, Kristina Downer, Mary Hitsman, and Tami Horn;
and nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL. Military Honors will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
